SETH GILLIAM
Seth Gilliam grew up outside Tyler in Chapel Hill, Texas wearing cowboy hats and rodeoing with his father and grandfather. He has since proven to be a man that wears as many hats as he chooses.
His diverse professional background includes stints in banking and as an analyst in the self storage industry. He has operated as a petroleum landman and most recently as a licensed drone pilot, testing both experimental hardware and software for a tech startup. Unable to shake the value he saw in real estate, Seth purchased his first investment property with his wife, Tiffany, in 2021.
While many of Seth’s previous roles convey directly to a career in commercial real estate, he highly values the unique perspective & insight provided by the less obvious experiences he has been fortunate enough to pursue.
Seth’s roots run deep in Tyler. One of his great-great grandfathers, George, was a night watchman that patrolled the downtown square. Gilliam family legend has it that another great-great grandfather, Ira, was one of the first employees at the original Brookshire’s Grocery.
These stories and tall tales continue with the newest generation as Seth proposed to Tiffany on the roof of the People’s Petroleum building in November 2015. The new couple became instant downtown residents upon their marriage in June 2016, moving in a block away from their engagement spot. With Bergfeld Realty, this data-driven researcher is excited and ready to be your commercial real estate agent in East Texas.
Seth is a proud Former Student of Texas A&M University; class of 2011. Along with Tiffany, he attends Bethel Bible Church at the downtown campus. He loves to visit the Gilliam family farm where he and his brother are the 6th generation to care for the land. Seth and Tiffany can be found there most weekends front-porch sitting, coffee drinking, and catching up with family.
